UP Board result 2018 for Intermediate and High School is expected to be announced today at 1:30 PM. How so ever the timing may fluctuate, so students do not get excited……stay calm:)
UP Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad University, responsible for conducting the 10th & 12th class examination. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted a 10+2 system of examination.
This year 36,55,691 students had registered for the class 10 exam in Uttar Pradesh. That is 20 lakh more than last year. The wait for more than 29 lakh students will be over today.
How To Check Result
The class 12th result will decide the fate of the students who are all set to pursue higher education. The 12th class result is the deciding factor thus to get admission into any degree course, integrated course, or even a job.
This year the board has been in the news for quitting of students from exams. According to reports, about17% (11.27 lakh) of the 66.4 lakh candidates dropped out of the examination midway after the government strictly implemented several anti-copying measures. Installed CCTV camera network at a whopping 8,057 examination centers in 75 districts of the state has an impact like the 2 sides of the coins, expectations for the good once but a curse for the worse. The Board had increased its supply of coded answer sheets to 50 districts this year from 31 districts last year. The state government had also roped in Special Task Force(STF) to thwart the copying mafia in board examinations which had been tarnishing the board and the state’s image for the past few decades.
